Main objective

The main objetive of the project is to develope a set of tools to implement, combine, integrate and validate functionalities of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) optimezed for hybrid multi-core embedded systems, MPSoCs (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

The consortium is made up of a technological company with large experience in on-board systems to autonomous vehicles, IXION. Also, two research centers, the University of Alicante with large expertise in the development of MPSoC, and the CSIC-CAR experts in ADAS systems and autonomous vehicles.

In this project I was senior researcher by the UA, where the principal investigator was Prof. Sergio Cuenta, and I focused my work on the Bayesian Occupancy Filter algorithm for vehicle perception. This algorithm and its variants were studied and after implemented on MPSoCs.

This project has been funded by the spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness along with the European Structural and Investment Funds in the National Project TCAP-AUTO (RTC-2015-3942-4) in the program of “Retos Colaboración 2014”.
